Tamara: I am 24 years old and an aspiring model and DJ. Formally from Durban and have been in Cape Town for 3 months now. Absolutely loving it here, besides the unpredictable weather, been a Durban lady this does not sit too well with us. I am always jovial and hardly a moment when I am down. I love and enjoy pampering myself, every lady should do it and try to make the time to. Does wonders for the soul.
How has modelling been treating you lately. Any nice shoots or jobs.Care to share some? My first ever shoot with Julius Jooste, that was so much fun, Seeing as it was my first shoot, I was extremely nervous and never knew what to expect, but it was wonderful and I enjoyed every second of it, although my back hurt and I kept sliding with my stockings on the leather couch. The shoot I really enjoyed as well was with Hannus Erasmus, my first location shoot. amazing and the pictures came out fantastic, really looked like a Bollywood star.
What’s a day in the life Of Tamara. How do you pay the Bills, What do you do for a living? Well. I work in admin and marketing on a Wine estate in Somerset West. I am an aspiring DJ, I have a passion for music and saved up and bought the equipment. I love electronic dance music. Hopefully one day I will be making a career out of dj’ing as well.
Did you ever think you’d be doing this (modelling)? I knew I always had it in me, but never took the leap in perusing  it. Finally I built up the courage and took the first step, landed my first shoot and that’s history.

I mean all that spicy and delicious Indian Food, PIM should know. How do you make the sacrifice with that type of food being part of your culture? Well in Cape Town, the curry fever subsides a lot. Durban is where the real curry is.
Can you cook a smouldering Hot Curry? If you had to whisk up a quick Indian Dish for PIM, What would it be? Mutton Curry for sure, sort of my speciality. Always comes out better than the last.

How has the modelling Industry ,present that is had an impact on the Indian Community and aspiring Indian models. With the bevy of Beauties in Bollywood, and the resurgence of Bollywood Im sure many aspiring Indian woman want to emulate these stunning actresses? Yes, that is very true, but then again Indian communities are very reserved and conservative. So many parents are not very open to the idea of their daughters looking sexy in magazines and been the object of numerous men’s affection, hopefully we are slowly breaking that trail of thought and becoming more liberal, that it is ok to be women and be comfortable in our sexuality.
If you could be anyone famous in the World today, who would you want to be and Why? Madonna…the women is an icon. Enough said.
What do you think of Playboy South Africa? Playboy is such a great platform for women are completely in sync and in tune with their sexuality. I am always hearing people say how trashy it is, but to me and many others. It is a real magazine show casing beautiful women and interesting articles. I would be honoured to pose for them.
Are you single? What’s your ideal man? Yes, have been single for a long while now. Not my ideal situation, but he just hasn’t come along yet.
Ideal man…hmmmm..He has to make me laugh, we should complement each other. Have similar interests. Very important is that he should have a  life beyond me. Fun and adventurous and spontaneous, and of course be a hopeless romantic just like me.
If PIM had to take Tamara  on a date. What would we have to do to blow your socks off lol?Surprize me, that’s one thing I love.I really like buying some take out, sitting on the beach, towards sunset and cuddling.
Thank You Tamara…Best of Luck with your Career
